Dorgali of Barbagia

Dorgali is one of the most important of Barbagia, thanks to its location and the extension of its territory, approximately 225 sq km from the slopes of the Supramonte highlands of Gollèi. The city is known for the skill of craftsmen working in gold filigree and for the production of artistic ceramics, leather, carpets and knives.

For research, in addition to the pleasure of a seaside holiday, the charm of history and archaeological evidence, the town of Dorgali contains within its territory the village of Mount nuragic Tiscali, the village of Nuragic Serra Orrios, menhirs, dolmens the basalt and limestone, the tomb of the giants of S'Ena and Thomes and much more.

In the vicinity of Dorgali is the fraction of Cala Gonone, which rises against Azzurrissimo Sea, located on the steep hill down towards to the coast, where there are many facilities.

Cala Gonone is also the starting point for achieving the beautiful bays of the Gulf, sometimes reachable only on board boats, as Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Fuili and Cala Biriola.
