Welcome to Alghero
Alghero is a city of more than 40,000 inhabitants of the province of Sassari, also known as Coral Coast. Thanks to the quantity and beauty of the coral red, one of the most valuable in world which is caught here and worked.
The site is located in northwestern part of Sardinia, within dell'omonima rada. A village north of the territory is characterized by plain of Nurra, while in the area northwest rise karst systems Cape Hunting, Punta Giglio and Monte Doglia.
